St Petrock’s is delighted to be launching a new Social Lettings service, thanks to 12 months’ government funding in partnership with Exeter City Council.
The new service will expand our successful Private Rent & Support (PRS) service to help people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or in temporary accommodation to access tenancies in the private rented sector. It is specifically targeted at individuals and families who would not normally be able to use ‘mainstream’ lettings agencies, who are on low incomes or in receipt of housing benefit, and will work with both clients and landlords to ensure tenancies are successfully maintained.
We are currently looking for 2 new members of staff to support this new service:
- Finance & Lettings Officer – To oversee the finance and administration systems of the Social Lettings service and build relationships with local landlords, partner agencies and clients. (See full job description here)
- Housing Support Worker – To provide comprehensive support to people referred to the social lettings service and StP’s housing services and assist them to select, move in, set up and maintain a home. (See full job description here)
Both posts are full-time (35hrs/week) on 12 month fixed term contracts.
