St Petrock’s has been awarded £20k by Provident Financial Group’s Good Neighbour programme for the sixth year in succession.

Cathy Prior, who helps manage PFG’s Good Neighbour project, explains, “Our primary objective is to make financial products and services available, in a responsible way to people who are not well served by mainstream financial providers. Alongside this, our Good Neighbour programme enables us to help the communities in which our customers live and work by supporting grassroots projects like St Petrock’s who work to address complex, relevant social inclusion issues, in this case homelessness.

“We’re delighted to be able to make an award of £20k again this year, as we know what great outcomes St Petrock’s achieves in supporting homeless people into accommodation. We are always impressed by the way the charity adapts its work to fill in the gaps most needed by its clients and makes such a difference to people’s lives. “

Mel Hartley, manager of St Petrock’s adds, “This award from Provident Financial could not have come at a better time, as a couple of our funding streams come to an end next year so to have CSR support like this is invaluable. It’s also a great compliment to our team that Provident Financial has recognised their work and achievements by continuing its support for a sixth year.
